How To Lose Weight
By Alexa Cooper
Cut Sugar out of your Diet. Sugar makes you addicted. You want to eat more and more of it and can not leave your fingers off of it. So, stop eating it all together. There is nothing good in sugar besides the hard truth that it tastes good. Don't touch the other sweet stuff either. Honey and Molasses and all that stuff is not so good for you either. Results will come when you don't go on searching for sweetness, but when you start to search for each flavor of its own. Cut most of the white flour out of your diet. White flour has the good and healthy stuff stripped away from it. As Celery is a negative calorie food, so white flour is a negative nutrient food. It does not give, but it takes away from you. Cut white polished rice out of your diet. With polished rice it is similar to the white flour. The nutrients that are in the shell have been taken out. It will make your sick eating it, your body will lose nutrients and you will lose energy. Cut Sweets out of your Diet. This should be a total No-Brainer. Sweets are just calories that you do not need to survive or keep functioning. If you have been telling yourself that you need them to deal with the stress in your life, stop lying to yourself and get healthy. A healthy person is much more able to deal with stress. Those sweets will put an extra stress on your system. So, when you get offered some say: "no thank you, I'm working on my eating and living more healthy." Eat Breakfast and early in the day. If you don't eat breakfast, your body will be starving by noon and you will overeat. Make sure you eat regularly. Also, when you eat more in the morning and early hours of the day, you will be less hungry at night and don't have to go to bed with a full stomach. This is better on your system to keep it functioning properly and to lose weight. Learn to cook with whole grains. There really seems to be a limited amount of information out there on how to cook with whole grains like barley, bulgur, millet, quinoa and so on. They are very good for your health. You need to learn to leave out the white flour, the polished rice and eat these whole grains instead. Do not eat prepackaged, ready to eat meals. It does not make any sense how someone in their right mind can eat something like those nasty frozen dinners. They are made from some stuff, shaped into food similar shapes and then the manufacturers simply add flavors. You and I would never eat that stuff if they would not add the flavors and the unbelievably high amounts of salt. Eat Eggs. Eggs are so healthy. You should eat them for breakfast and as snacks. They come in their own packaging. Just boil them and they are ready to go. They give you protein and healthy fat. Always opt in for the organic eggs. You really do pay for what you get. Eat them, because they keep you full. Learn to track your calorie intake. Portion control is not to be under estimated. It is important that you know how much energy intake you have. This is really what will make you lose the weight. All the points before were simply to set you up for portion control. Without sugar you will lose food cravings and with whole grains you will get more energy with less food. The eggs will keep you full throughout the day and eating regularly will keep you from overeating. Portion control is the key to what makes your scale move down in the end.
